GREENSPOON MARDER SHAREHOLDER PETER SIEGEL TO BE A FEATURED SPEAKER AT THE CORAL SPRINGS REGIONAL CHAMBER OF COMMERCE’S BUSINESS ACADEMY
Fort Lauderdale – December 1, 2016 – Greenspoon Marder shareholder, Peter Siegel, will be a featured speaker at the Coral Springs Regional Chamber of Commerce’s business academy. The classes titled “Top Ten Ways to Avoid Employee Lawsuits” & “Cyber Security: A Small Business Guide” will take place on Friday, December 2nd in Coral Springs.
Business professionals across a variety of different industries are set to gather at this meeting of the minds. The class will be spearheaded by Mr. Siegel. He will also be joined by Eric Scott of AmTrust Bank. Mr. Siegel will cover topics including how to avoid the theft of digital information, how employers and business owners can avoid lawsuits, employer risks and obligations regarding social media practices, anticipated changes to labor regulations during the Trump Administration, and a variety of other topics.
Mr. Siegel focuses his practice in the areas of labor and employment law, and is a frequent public speaker on HR-related topics. He counsels employers on all aspects of the employment relationship including interviewing, hiring, employee discipline and discharge issues, and the drafting and negotiating of employment and severance agreements. Mr. Siegel is a member of the National Employment Lawyers Association, and the Society for Human Resource Management.
