FORT LAUDERDALE – October 20, 2017 – Greenspoon Marder is proud to support the Broward County Bar Association (BCBA) Bench and Bar Convention on Friday, October 20th from 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM at the Broward County Convention Center. The event attracts over 600 participants throughout the Broward, Miami-Dade, and Palm Beach Counties.
In addition to the firm’s sponsorship, Greenspoon Marder co-managing director, Gerald Greenspoon, will be a panelist on the “Medical Marijuana Primer and Legislative Update” panel at 10:45 AM. Mr. Greenspoon will speak on updates and the legislative status of medical marijuana in Florida. Additionally, attorney Alicia Lewis will be a panelist on the “Marijuana Track Land Use and Zoning” panel at 2:00 PM, as well as Matthew Ginder and Myrna Maysonet speaking on the “Marijuana Track Issues Affecting Different Sections of Law” panel at 3:10 PM. Mr. Ginder and Ms. Maysonet will speak on labor and employment laws, banking and taxes issues.
BCBA is a not-for-profit organization and was founded in 1925 to foster courtesy, ethics, and professionalism among Broward County lawyers, to educate the citizens of Broward County on their legal rights, and to provide necessary legal services to Broward County’s residents.
