The 74-acre golf course at Deerfield Country Club, located in Deerfield Beach, will be replaced by an industrial and office park. “The Hillsboro Technology Park, as it will be called, will specialize in distribution centers and offices. It will bring the city about $1 million in initial fees and permits as well as $1 million in taxes every year,” said Dennis Mele, a shareholder at Greenspoon Marder.
