Greenspoon Marder’s Rebecca Bratter, a shareholder in the Litigation group at the firm’s Cypress Creek office, was selected as a finalist for Lifestyle Media Group’s Up & Comer Award. The Up & Comer Award is a unique awards program created by Lifestyle Media Group to showcase the many South Florida professionals whose dedication to their occupation and to their community deserves recognition.
Concentrating her practice on the defense of class actions, Bratter handles cases involving non-profit debt management, for profit debt-settlement and consumer trade practices. She assists clients with litigation matters pertaining to healthcare, consumer finance, and labor and employment.
Bratter is the founder of Kids Can, a charitable organization that works to unlock the potential in children aged 3-9 and to empower them to give back to the community and enrich the lives of those who are less fortunate. She has helped raise funds to support the local Young at Art Museum, and actively works with Art REACH, a nationally awarded after-school art and academic enrichment program for homeless children in Broward emergency and transitional shelters.
Bratter is admitted to the Florida Bar and holds court admissions for the U.S. District Court, Middle District of Florida, U.S. District Court, Northern District of Florida, U.S. District Court, Southern District of Florida, and the U.S. Supreme Court. She received her J.D. from Nova Southeastern University, and her B.A. from George Washington University.
