Larry Corman, Esquire is a partner with Greenspoon Marder LLP. Admitted to the Florida Bar in 1983, Mr. Corman is a Harvard Law School graduate and is AV-rated by Martindale-Hubbell.

Mr. Corman has represented residents and communities in connection with developer turnovers, including Boca West, Broken Sound, Mizner Country Club, Boca Pointe and Deering Bay Yacht and Country Club.

Mr. Corman has and continues to serve as General and Litigation Counsel for Boca West Country Club, The Polo Club of Boca Raton, Fort Lauderdale Country Club, Adios Country Club, Lost City of Atlantis Country Club, Delray Dunes Country Club, La Gorce Country Club, Mizner Country Club, and Boca Grove Property Owner’s Association, among other communities, as well as for various other Property Owners and Condominium Associations.

As General Counsel, Mr. Corman is involved in all aspects of Club and Association operations, including drafting construction and vendor contracts and resolving attendant disputes, preparing, amending and enforcing governing documents, handling employment complaints and Member grievances, as well as collecting delinquent accounts.

Mr. Corman is a former Board member and Past President of the South Palm Beach County Bar Association. Additionally, he is a former Chair of the SPBCBA’s Professionalism and Civility Committee.

Representative Experience

Represents a number of private country clubs and property owner associations in matters involving: turnover of real property and related facilities from developers to clubs and other property owners; review and preparation of vendor contracts; drafting of employee handbooks; resolution of member and employee grievances; interpretation, preparation and enforcement of by-laws, rules and regulations; and construction-related disputes
Successfully tried cases involving: the fraudulent sale of business interests and assets; defective construction of improvements to real property and yachts; enforcement of covenants not to compete; protection of trade secrets; and defamation and false imprisonment claims
Litigated numerous cases involving Civil Rights and Constitutional Law, including: matters involving freedom of speech and religion; abortion rights; access to courts; and employment and housing discrimination
