Richard Minzberg is an associate in the Corporate & Business practice group at Greenspoon Marder LLP. He focuses his practice on providing legal counsel to emerging businesses and corporations. Mr. Minzberg has experience representing clients in negotiating and drafting M&A transaction documents, incentive award agreements, contractor and employee agreements, promissory notes, NDAs, non-competes, real estate purchase/sale agreements, UCC filings, and corporate resolutions. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Minzberg gained business experience as a sales director for Healthybud Corp., a North American pet wellness brand, and in real estate development as a partner and in-house counsel for The Foundry Phase 3.
Mr. Minzberg provided legal counsel to the Foundry during its due diligence and closing of a major multifamily property. He coordinated closing documents and provided comments to the underlying partnership agreements and the contracts required to receive the necessary financing to acquire the property. In addition, Mr. Minzberg was instrumental in the Foundry receiving a tax exemption (Payment in Lieu of Taxes) from the local Industrial Development Agency.
