Elected to Serve on Board of Broward B’Nai Brith’s Justice Unit
FORT LAUDERDALE, FL – February 2, 2017 – Greenspoon Marder associate Elizabeth Somerstein Adler was recently elected to serve on the Board of the Broward B’nai Brith’s Justice Unit. Ms. Adler is currently serving a second term on the City of Fort Lauderdale’s Sustainability Advisory Board.
The Broward B’nai Brith Justice Unit is a local chapter of B’nai B’rith International. Its members consist of Jewish attorneys and judges, located primarily Broward County, Florida. BBJU has provided an important avenue for civic and social involvement, while carrying out the ideals of B’nai B’rith. BBJU sponsors social, educational and charitable programs for its members in conjunction with other Broward County voluntary bar associations and professional organizations.
Ms. Adler concentrates her practice on civil litigation, specifically with regard to commercial, construction, zoning, environmental, and land use litigation. She is a certified U.S. Green Building Council Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Green Associate, and has experience in the area of green design and construction, as well as an understanding of green building practices, principles and the LEED Rating Systems.
