Mr. Leiva is a partner in the Labor and Employment and Litigation practice groups at Greenspoon Marder LLP, providing guidance to employers of all industries and sizes on various aspects of the employment relationship including interviewing, hiring, employee discipline, termination, human resources management, and training. In addition, Mr. Leiva represents employers in a wide range of workplace litigation matters.
Ms. Somerstein is a partner in the Real Estate and Banking & Finance practice groups at Greenspoon Marder LLP, representing clients in a wide range of real estate transactions, including counseling developers and lenders on the acquisition, sale, financing and leasing of both commercial and residential properties. She has experience working throughout the United States closing transactions involving retail, mixed-use, multi-family, hotel, office, warehouse, condominium, automobile dealership and self-storage.
Mr. Deal is an attorney in the Construction and Litigation practice groups at Greenspoon Marder LLP, concentrating his practice on commercial and civil matters litigating in state and federal courts in New York and handling appeals before the New York Supreme Court, Appellate Division, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. Mr. Deal has experience representing construction industry clients on contract disputes, construction defect claims, delay claims, payment and performance bond claims, and mechanic’s lien claims.
Ms. Sher is an attorney in the Innovation and Technology practice group, as well as the Corporate & Business and Entertainment & Sports practice groups at Greenspoon Marder LLP, concentrating her practice on representing and advising startups, emerging growth companies, brands, creators, and executives in media, technology, and consumer products in all aspects of commercial transactions. Ms. Sher has experience in deal-making and structuring rights, talent, licensing, and production agreements in all facets of intellectual property, media and entertainment.
Mr. Alman is an attorney in the Marital & Family practice group at Greenspoon Marder LLP, focusing primarily on legal issues relating to family, divorce, paternity, enforcement/modification proceedings, alimony, child support, child custody/timesharing and parental responsibility, and pre & post-nuptial agreements. In addition, Mr. Alman has experience handling both stepparent and second-parent adoptions in Florida with both heterosexual and same-sex couples.
