THE PERFORMING ARTS CENTER AUTHORITY IN BROWARD COUNTY
Fort Lauderdale, FL – September 27, 2017 – Greenspoon Marder deputy managing shareholder Rebecca Bratter has been appointed to the Performing Arts Center Authority by the Broward County Board of County Commissioners. The board is charged with keeping the Broward Center vital and responsive. As the community evolves, the Performing Arts Center Authority helps to shape the Broward Center’s future.
The Performing Arts Center Authority is the 13-member volunteer board that governs the Broward Center for the Performing Arts. Members are appointed to a four-year term by five contributing partners, which include Broward County, the City of Fort Lauderdale, the Downtown Development Authority, the School Board of Broward County, and the Broward Performing Arts Foundation.
Ms. Bratter is a leading member of the firm’s Management Committee, specifically responsible for firm strategy and growth, working closely alongside the co-founders, and also serves on the firm’s Impact Council. In addition, she leads the firm’s efforts in connection to charitable, community service and pro bono efforts and is highly involved with several charitable organizations including the Dan Marino Foundation, Here’s Help, and Arc Broward.
