Miami – November 4, 2024 – Greenspoon Marder is pleased to announce the promotion of Joshua J. Remedios to partner. Mr. Remedios, formerly senior counsel in the firm’s Hospitality, Alcohol and Leisure Industry Group, focuses his practice on the laws governing alcohol beverages, hospitality, and zoning. He works with clients across all three tiers of the alcohol industry, providing comprehensive legal counsel.
Recognized as an “Up & Comer” in the Nationwide: Food & Beverage category of Chambers & Partners, Mr. Remedios’ experience includes representing clients in various land use and zoning matters, civil litigation proceedings and appeals, administrative litigation, criminal defense of alleged violations of alcohol beverage laws, commercial business transactions and lease negotiations. He is particularly adept at navigating the complexities of alcohol beverage licensing and municipal permitting, regularly appearing before state and local boards on behalf of his clients.

Mr. Remedios earned his J.D. from Florida International University College of Law in 2012 and his B.A. in International Relations, magna cum laude, from Florida International University in 2009.
