Los Angeles – June 2, 2026 – Greenspoon Marder is proud to have hosted Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) for a work-based learning career day in the Los Angeles law office. The event welcomed a bright group of students from Woodrow Wilson High School, providing them with a first-hand look at the inner workings of a national law firm and the diverse career paths available within the legal industry.
The initiative was led by Richard Giller, partner and chair of the firm’s Insurance Recovery & Counseling Practice Group, who has served as counsel to LAUSD and remains deeply committed to advancing the district’s educational mission. “We are honored to welcome the next generation of leaders from Woodrow Wilson High School,” said Mr. Giller. “Creating meaningful opportunities for students to engage directly with legal professionals is critical to cultivating future talent and strengthening our communities. I wish an opportunity like this had been available to me when I was a student.”
The day included an engaging panel discussion moderated by chief impact officer and partner Myrna Maysonet, which featured managing partner Rebecca Bratter, chief talent officer Anny Tavit, and attorneys Puneet Bhullar and Richard Giller. Greenspoon Marder co-managing director Michael Marder also appeared as a special speaker, sharing his insights into the firm’s founding and the importance of professional mentorship. In addition, students participated in a guided office tour and a hosted lunch, creating further opportunities to connect with and learn from members of the firm’s Los Angeles-based team in a more informal setting.
This Career Day is part of the firm’s Future Lawyers Bridge Program, an initiative designed to introduce students from diverse backgrounds to careers in the legal profession through mentorship, hands-on learning, and direct engagement with practicing attorneys and administrative professionals. Greenspoon Marder remains committed to supporting programs like this that bridge the gap between the classroom and the professional world, equipping students with the access, insight, and inspiration needed to pursue their future careers.
