Supporting Israeli Innovation and Entrepreneurship
Greenspoon Marder managing partner Rebecca Bratter and partner Roy Masuri participated in a startup pitch session hosted by Tech7, a nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing entrepreneurship and technology development throughout Israel’s Negev region and broader startup ecosystem. Tech7 connects founders, investors, industry leaders, and community partners to help accelerate emerging companies and create opportunities for growth.
During the session, startup founders presented their businesses, investment objectives, and growth strategies. Rebecca and Roy provided feedback, shared practical insights, and facilitated introductions within the firm’s professional network. The program showcased the strength of Israel’s entrepreneurial ecosystem and Greenspoon Marder’s ongoing commitment to supporting founders as they expand their businesses and pursue opportunities in the U.S. and beyond.
Recently, as part of AI Week NY, the firm hosted a TAMID Alumni event at its New York office, bringing together founders, investors, entrepreneurs, and technology professionals for an evening focused on artificial intelligence and innovation. The event featured a panel discussion with investors and founders, who shared their perspectives on emerging technologies, real-world applications of AI, investment trends, and the opportunities and challenges shaping the future of the industry.
Community Engagement and Thought Leadership
In partnership with Jewish National Fund-USA, Greenspoon Marder hosted The Honorable Roy Altman in its Los Angeles office for a discussion on leadership, public service, Israel advocacy, and the importance of historical context in today’s global discourse. Judge Altman also shared insights from his New York Times bestselling book, Israel on Trial: Examining the History, the Evidence, and the Law.
Greenspoon Marder remains actively engaged with organizations and initiatives that support and uplift the Jewish and Israeli communities, including attendance at recent events hosted by the Greater Miami Jewish Federation in South Florida and The Holocaust Memorial and Tolerance Center in New York.
Looking Ahead
This November, members of Greenspoon Marder’s Israel Practice, including co-managing director Gerry Greenspoon, Rebecca Bratter, and Roy Masuri, will return to Israel for an extensive series of meetings, events, and strategic discussions with business owners, entrepreneurs, investors, and professional advisors across the region. Key highlights of the trip include participating in Deep Tech Week, as well as co-hosting an Investors Breakfast on November 12 and a Founders Dinner on November 15 in Tel Aviv alongside BDO Israel. We are excited to continue deepening our relationships and driving growth within the Israeli business community.

By: Andrew Jablon

October is Cybersecurity Awareness Month, a timely reminder that cyber risk has become a business risk, a legal risk, and, increasingly, a boardroom issue. For Israeli companies operating internationally, particularly those with U.S. customers, investors, employees, or business partners, cybersecurity incidents can create far-reaching consequences.

Israeli Founders Are Increasingly Incorporating in Delaware: Here’s What That Means for You
By: Yuval Horn and Michal Weinstock
Gornitzky GNY
If you invest in or acquire companies built by Israeli founders, you have likely noticed more of them incorporating directly in Delaware, or “flipping” into a U.S. parent, earlier than before. Incorporation trends among Israeli startups have shifted before, and this one should not be read as a departure from Israel.

“For more than 25 years, I have practiced exclusively as a transactional attorney, advising entrepreneurs and their businesses through growth, transactions, and expansion. A particularly rewarding aspect of my practice is working with Israeli companies and founders as they pursue opportunities in the U.S. and other international markets. Israeli businesses are known for their innovation, resilience, and global mindset, and I value helping them translate opportunity into meaningful growth. I have worked extensively with Israeli clients on strategic transactions, growth initiatives, and cross-border expansion. Whether structuring investments, negotiating acquisitions, forming joint ventures, or navigating international operations, my focus is on providing practical, business-minded guidance.
Many of the Israeli companies I work with are defined by entrepreneurial discipline, strategic focus, and the ability to move decisively in dynamic global markets. From emerging startups to established businesses, Israeli founders and leaders often build companies designed to innovate, scale, and compete globally from day one. I deeply value my relationships within Israel’s business and entrepreneurial community and take pride in serving as a trusted advisor throughout each stage of growth. At Greenspoon Marder, we bring a hands-on, practical approach that helps Israeli companies anticipate challenges, pursue opportunities, and achieve success in the U.S. market and beyond.”
