Fort Lauderdale, Fla. – August 1, 2024 – Greenspoon Marder announces that, effective today, August 1, 2024, partner Mark J. Lynn is Board Certified in Construction Law. As a board-certified lawyer, Mr. Lynn is among attorneys who are distinguished as specialists or experts in a particular practice area.
Established in 1982 by the Florida Supreme Court, board certification helps consumers identify specialists in various areas of law. The mission of the Board of Legal Specialization and Education (BLSE) is to improve the practice of law and the delivery of legal services to the public through the enhancement of technical skills and substantial competence, united under the highest standards of professionalism and civility. In pursuit of that mission, the BLSE oversees the award of board certification, evaluates and accredits continuing legal education, and ensures all Florida Bar members comply with the educational requirements set by the Supreme Court of Florida.
Mr. Lynn, a member of the Real Estate practice group at Greenspoon Marder LLP, has developed a comprehensive practice in real estate transactional law, with an emphasis on the representation of developers in the acquisition, financing, and development of commercial properties, as well as the negotiation of construction contracts. He has also developed several sub-specialties within this commercial real estate practice including the acquisition and sale of apartment complexes, office buildings, industrial developments, and medical centers, lender representation, and the representation of landlords and tenants in office buildings, shopping centers, and warehouse leasing.
