Miami – July 31, 2023 – On Thursday, July 27, 2023, the Miami City Commission unanimously ratified an approval by the Miami Planning, Zoning and Appeals Board (“PZAB”), relying in part on a positive staff report on Delilah Miami’s 8,000 square foot restaurant/nightlife establishment with outdoor seating located at The Four Ambassadors in the Brickell area of Downtown Miami. The Greenspoon Marder Hospitality, Alcohol and Leisure Industry Group, led by chair Louis J. Terminello, prevailed on all three approval levels and by unanimous votes – an outcome rarely achieved on behalf of a restaurant/nightlife venue that operates in a residential building until 5:00 a.m. Delilah Miami, a concept operated by the LA-based nightlife group The h.wood Group that also operates a world-class venue at The Wynn in Las Vegas, now hopes to open in Brickell by December 2023.
“These three levels of approval were a team effort that may not have been possible without the involvement of Greenspoon Marder senior counsel Joshua Remedios and associate Kevin Cruz. We are very pleased with our accomplishment on behalf of the client, but just as much, I am very proud of the collective determination that went into this project since its inception 18 months ago, especially the resolve and energy shown by attorneys Josh and Kevin in bringing this win over the finish line – just in time for a winter season opening,” expressed Mr. Terminello.
