Alan Cohn, a shareholder at Greenspoon Marder’s Cypress Creek office, was selected as a 2014 AV Preeminent Top Rated Lawyer by ALM and Martindale-Hubbell. The award honors those individuals who exhibit the highest legal ability and ethical standards.
Cohn concentrates his practice in the areas of Taxation, Wills, Trusts & Estates, Asset Protection Planning, Guardianship Law, Creditor Protection, and Corporate & Business Law.
As an active member of the community, Cohn serves on the Board of Directors for the I Care I Cure Childhood Cancer Foundation and is a Professional Advisors Council Member for the Community Foundation of Broward. He is a board member of the Jewish Family Service of Broward County, Chair of the Jewish Community Foundation of Jewish Federation of Broward County and President of the Rotary Club of Fort Lauderdale/Cypress Creek.
Cohn is admitted to the Florida Bar and is a member of the Broward County and American Bar Associations, as well as a member of the Taxation and Probate and Guardianship Rules Committee of the Florida Bar. He received his Master of Laws in Taxation, Juris Doctorate, and Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Florida.
