Phillip Silvestri

Phillip (Phil) Silvestri focuses on the representation of clients in highly regulated industries, including timeshare developers, cannabis-related entities, and financial institutions. His practice primarily focuses on representing these clients in complex federal and state litigation. He also has extensive experience in general litigation and Alternative Dispute Resolution. Mr. Silvestri serves as an arbitrator for the Eighth Judicial District Court and previously served as a mediator for the state of Nevada Real Estate Division.

Prior to joining Greenspoon Marder LLP, Mr. Silvestri managed his own practice, Silvestri Gidvani, P.C., representing creditors and cannabis businesses. In this role, his practice focused on representing lenders in foreclosure mediation, where he was the most experienced foreclosure mediation advocate in the State of Nevada, having participated in over 2,500 mediations. He was also appointed by the Nevada Supreme Court to the State of Nevada Foreclosure Mediation Program Advisory Committee, where he has served until the committee was dissolved. In that role, the Supreme Court tasked him with evaluating the effectiveness, operation, policies and practices of the Nevada Foreclosure Mediation Program. Additionally, Mr. Silvestri was responsible for studying the program rules and making recommendations to the Court regarding improvements to the program.
