Fort Lauderdale, Fla. – March 7, 2024 – Greenspoon Marder announces the promotions of Bankruptcy attorney Rilyn A. Carnahan and Labor and Employment attorney Alejandro I. Leiva to partner positions. Both are recognized for their professional achievements, commitment to excellence, and outstanding client service at the firm.

Ms. Carnahan is a member of the Bankruptcy and Reorganization practice group at Greenspoon Marder, concentrating her practice on the representation of trustees, creditors, and creditors’ committees in matters concerning Chapters 7, 11, and 13. In addition to bankruptcy, her practice also includes reorganizations and restructuring, insolvency, and receiverships. She received her Juris Doctor from the University of Miami School of Law.
Mr. Leiva is a member of the Labor and Employment and Litigation practice groups at Greenspoon Marder, representing employers in a wide range of workplace litigation matters. Likewise, Mr. Leiva provides guidance to employers of all industries and sizes on various aspects of the employment relationship including interviewing, hiring, employee discipline, termination, human resources management, and training. He received his Juris Doctor from Florida International University College of Law.
