The annual guide covers private wealth management work and related specialties in key jurisdictions around the world, spotlighting the attorneys and firms that clients and peers identify as leaders in serving high net worth individuals and families.
Blair was recognized for the ninth consecutive year for Private Wealth Law in Florida. Based in the firm’s South Florida and New York offices, he concentrates his practice on estate, gift, and generation-skipping transfer tax planning, with an emphasis on representing families and entrepreneurs in multi-generation wealth transfer and asset protection planning.
This year marks a milestone for Greenspoon Marder’s International Wealth & Asset Planning team in Colorado, with the practice earning its first-ever Chambers HNW ranking for Private Wealth Law in Colorado. In addition, Bechel and Brown were individually recognized for the first time in the guide, highlighting the continued growth and strength of the firm’s Denver-based private wealth practice.
Brown serves as chair of the International Wealth and Asset Planning Group with over 25 years of experience in comprehensive estate planning, asset protection, and taxation. He is a co-author of multiple editions of the Asset Protection Planning Guide, published by Wolters Kluwer, CCH, and has written extensively on trust design for clients seeking to protect family wealth while maintaining flexibility as their circumstances and the law change.
Bechel advises clients on complex estate planning matters, including international trust structures, asset protection, tax-exempt organizations, and tax planning. His work includes helping clients set up domestic and offshore trust structures in jurisdictions such as the Cook Islands and Nevis to protect family assets across generations.
