Portland, OR – March 1, 2022 – Greenspoon Marder is pleased to announce that senior counsel Kristin Stankiewicz was elected to the Executive Committee of the Cannabis and Psychedelics Section of the Oregon State Bar. Along with her selection, Ms. Stankiewicz started the section’s inaugural Regulatory Agencies Subcommittee. The committee is a group of attorneys who have a strong relationship with state regulatory agencies and who keep up-to-date on all regulatory changes for cannabis, hemp, and psilocybin.
The Cannabis and Psychedelics Law Section Regulatory Agencies Subcommittee plans to put out bulletins to the OSB Cannabis and Psychedelics section regarding news, updates, and changes. The subcommittee also plans to advocate for our clients with the OLCC, ODA, and OHA during the rulemaking process and within the regulatory process.
Ms. Stankiewicz focuses her practice on land use and real estate matters and state and local licensing for cannabis businesses. She previously worked for the Office of Metro Attorney, the general counsel’s office at Portland, Oregon’s regional government, Metro, where she assisted with real estate acquisitions, complex permitting problems and a diverse range of municipal law issues. Ms. Stankiewicz speaks often on cannabis-related issues.
