Akshita Singh

Akshita Singh is an associate in the Cannabis Law practice group at Greenspoon Marder LLP, providing legal counsel and support to clients on cannabis industry-related matters, including regulatory issues and compliance concerning state and federal laws. Ms. Singh also focuses her practice on state applications for medical and recreational cannabis for dispensaries, processing, and cultivation licenses. Ms. Singh’s practice is not limited to the cannabis industry, however. In addition, she has extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions (M&A), having been involved in numerous high-profile transactions. Her M&A experience spans across various industries, providing her with a unique perspective and a deep understanding of the intricacies involved in such transactions. She is adept at guiding clients through the entire M&A process, from due diligence to negotiation, structuring, and closing of the deal. As well as her M&A experience, Ms. Singh also has a strong background in public company securities. She has represented both issuers and underwriters in initial public offerings (IPOs), secondary offerings, and private placements. Her expertise in securities law also extends to regulatory compliance, corporate governance, and disclosure obligations. She is well-versed in the rules and regulations of the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and other regulatory bodies, ensuring that her clients are always in compliance.
