Bridgewater, NJ, July 31, 2019 – Greenspoon Marder partner Nandini Nair was a featured speaker at the Council of Hindu Temples of North America’s (CHTNA) Annual Conference: “Religious Worker (R-1) Visas and Permanent Residency” on July 27 th in Bridgewater. The topics discussed included issues regarding R-1 Temporary Work Visas for religious workers and religious staff, Permanent Residency Options for Religious Workers, Employer Compliance Requirements, among other topics.
CHTNA is the umbrella organization to promote Hindu religious and cultural activities in North American continent towards better management and development of Hindu Temples in this region. The purpose is to unite all the Hindu Temples under a common banner and CHTNA to be the official representative of all the Hindu Temples in this region to speak on subjects and concerns affecting Hindu religion and culture. It fosters exchange and sharing of ideas / experiences in regulations, management issues, conflicts of interest, security, etc.
