GREENSPOON MARDER SHAREHOLDER JODI LAURENCE TO MODERATE THE WOMEN IN HEALTH CARE: LEADERS IN THE TRANSFORMATION OF MEDICINE

FORT LAUDERDALE – September 27, 2016 – Greenspoon Marder shareholder Jodi Laurence to moderate the Women in Health Care: Leaders in the Transformation of Medicine event today at the Five Star Premier Residences of Hollywood. In concert with Women in Medicine Month, the panel discussion will focus on the rapid growth of female doctors in the American Health System. The panel will consist of five remarkable female health care professionals that will share their stories of the challenges they have overcome and comment on the opportunities that lie ahead as women in medicine make their mark on the industry.

As the rate of change in the business of healthcare rapidly accelerates, female doctors and healthcare executives are in a unique position to lead the charge. Greenspoon Marder is proud to be the presenting sponsor of the Women in Health Care event. Ms. Laurence is a Board Certified Health Law attorney with extensive experience in all aspects of health law, including the formation and structuring of health care companies and multi-specialty group practices, mergers and acquisitions, contracting, corporate compliance and fraud and abuse issues. She has represented hospitals, physicians, home health agencies, health care corporations, managed care entities and accountable care organizations. In addition to her busy practice, Ms. Laurence serves on The Florida Bar Health Law Section Executive Council and several non-profit boards. She is an adjunct professor at University of Miami Law School where she teaches Health Law.
