Steve Geller was the Featured Speaker at the Pine Island Ridge Democratic Club where he spoke on Gambling and Charlie Crist

FORT LAUDERDALE, FL – October 30, 2013 – Steve Geller, a Shareholder in the Fort Lauderdale offices of Greenspoon Marder, P.A., spoke at the Pine Island Ridge Democratic Club at the Pine Island Country Club on October 24, 2013. Geller was their featured speaker and discussed Gambling and Charlie Crist and spoke about the upcoming Governor’s election, and spoke about his predictions for what the Legislature would do about gambling. Geller also spoke extensively about the Florida lottery, as part of his remarks about gambling.

Geller was a member of the Florida Legislature for 20 years, where he served as the Minority Leader of the Florida Senate. He has served as Chair of the Legislative Committees on Regulated Industries (alcohol, tobacco and gambling) and as president of the National Council of Legislators from Gaming States (NCLGS). Geller concentrates his practice in the areas of land use and zoning, lobbying, and gaming, representing numerous local and national clients.
