Fort Lauderdale, FL – May 14, 2020 – Greenspoon Marder senior counsel Stephanie Varela will be co-presenting the Florida Bar’s “Raise Your Standards: A Practitioner’s Guide to the Effective Use of Appellate Standards of Review” CLE webinar on May 19^th. This webinar will provide an overview of the standards of review on appeal in Florida state civil cases and address the practical impact the standards can have on any given case. Jay Yagoda, partner at Greenberg Traurig, will be presenting this webinar as well. The Florida Bar is the organization of all lawyers licensed by the Supreme Court of Florida to practice law in the state.

Stephanie L. Varela is senior counsel in the Litigation practice group at Greenspoon Marder LLP. Ms. Varela has extensive experience with appellate litigation and trial support during all stages of litigation, which includes pre-trial and post-trial motion practice. She represents clients in both state and federal courts in a variety of areas of the law, including products liability, negligence, contract disputes, and employment litigation.
