Co-Managing Director

Gerald (Gerry) Greenspoon is the co-founder of Greenspoon Marder LLP, having launched the firm in 1981 with partner Michael Marder in a humble meeting over a kitchen table. What began as a small local practice has since grown into a full-service national law firm with over 225 attorneys across the United States.

Mr. Greenspoon is widely recognized for his legal and business acumen, particularly in the areas of real estate development, resort and timeshare law, condominium conversions, and finance and transactions. He has served as a trusted advisor to developers and investors involved in some of the largest and most complex development projects in Florida and beyond, offering strategic counsel as well as access to influential industry networks and resources. His client-centered approach and forward-thinking leadership have been instrumental in Greenspoon Marder’s continued growth and national reach.

His entrepreneurial vision has also helped shape major sectors of Florida’s economy. Under his leadership, the firm has been at the forefront of the state’s real estate and hospitality industries, contributing to projects that have fueled billions in economic activity. He also spearheaded Greenspoon Marder’s expansion into emerging markets, including the legal cannabis industry, positioning the firm as one of the first in the nation to provide dedicated legal services to cannabis businesses. His ability to identify and invest in evolving sectors has kept the firm at the cutting edge of legal innovation.
